HABC Level 2 Certificate in Door Supervision
Conflict Management Techniques, Industry Knowledge and Physical Intervention Skills for the Security Industry.
Who is this course for?
Anyone over 18 who would like to learn about Conflict Management and Door Supervision Techniques for the Security Industry. This is aimed primarily for those currently unemployed.
Do I need any previous training?
How long does it last?
5 days over 2 weeks.
How much does it cost?
This course is free to anyone aged 18 & for those 19+ who are in receipt of JSA.
Will I get a certificate?
Yes. You will receive the Level 2 Certificate in Door Supervision and City and Guilds Certificate in Employability.
What benefits does this course offer?
You will be taught techniques for Door Supervision and on successful completion you will be able to apply for a Front Line SIA license. You will be looked after by qualified staff with vast experience of this industry.
Who are the Tutors?
Shed Coulthard - experienced Door Supervisor. Shed currently works in the capacity of a Security Industry Expert, specialising in Physical Intervention, Search and Arrest.

Gareth Stones - has worked in the Event Security Industry at various well known venues nationally.
When and where does it take place?
Five full days at The Signal Box, Metro Radio Arena Way, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE4 7NA
What does the course cover?
You will learn the working practises required to work Front Line in the Security Industry.
This includes:
  • Conflict Management,
  • Behavioural Standards,
  • Physical Intervention,
  • Arrest and Force,
  • Communication Skills, 
  • Employability issues that can help with the guaranteed work interview during the course.
