NCFE Level 1 Qualifications in:

  • Health and Safety Awareness
  • Volunteering
Who are these courses for?
Anyone over 16 who would like to learn a basic knowledge and understanding of the above subject areas. This is aimed primarily for those currently unemployed.
Do I need any previous training?
No.
How long do they last?
Short courses are usually delivered within 2 to 4 days.
What does the course cover?
Personal Safety
  • Exploring Crime and its impact on Society
  • Exploring personal safety precautions
  • Be able to identify practical solutions
  • Understand conflict management solutions

Health & Safety
  • Understand the importance of H&S in the workplace
  • Understand risk assessment
  • Be aware of H&S requirements in working environments

Volunteering
  • An understanding of the volunteering sector
  • Understanding equal opportunities
  • Finding volunteer posts
Will I get a certificate?
Yes. You will receive an accredited Awarding body certificate in your chosen subjects.
What benefits do these courses offer?
You will be taught with unique access to the real working environments. You will be looked after by qualified staff with vast experience of the subject area.
Who are the Tutors?
The tutors and assessors will be specific for your vocational area.  All Eventcover Education staff are qualified and experienced in the subject area.
When and where does it take place?
Classroom based training will take place at our main training centre at the Metro Radio Arena or at other venues convenient for learners.
